We've been having an awesome time here camping, sightseeing and shopping. Best part... Joe has been feeling good! We'll be back on the blog next week with lots of pictures and stories!
Glad you are having a great time camping this weekend. We went camping too and thought about you a lot. We went to Blue Water State Park. It is a lovely spot. The canyon made by Blue Water Creek on the east side of the state park is just beautiful. As a serious photographer I find the lake on the west side kind of boring. It seems to be good place for people who like jet skis. Our trip did not go so well. We were dry camping with no hookup at all. Well dry camping is not the right word for it. It rained practically non-stop for the better part of two days. However, the worst thing was the big mistake I made. In de-winterizing the trailer I forgot to check the water in the battery. Without the battery the blower on the furnace and the water pump would not work. It was cold and we needed heat. Early Sunday morning about 6:30 AM I was out in the rain checking the battery and putting water in it. We gave up and came home Sunday.
