I am remarried and living on a farm near Kincaid, south of Garnett, still working at Wolf Creek and helping my wife raise a few head of cattle (she is also a special education teacher). Our prayers are with all of you - keep the faith and stay strong!

Joe and Vicki,
ReplyDeleteWhen Aunt Betty told us about Joe's cancer it was hard to digest; shocking, depressing, sad, scary. Why do bad things happen to good people? It's not fair, what must God be thinking!
Your faith in God is very obvious and comforting, and I believe this will get you both through this. No matter what God's plan for Joe is, we pray that you always feel His love and presence every day, especially those days when fear and insecurity try to take over.
We believe that God performs miracles on a daily basis, that there is always hope even at our darkest hour, and that prayers are answered.
Please know that we are saying the rosary daily for Joe and asking for our Lord's healing mercy.
Vicki, we also pray for your strength because Joe needs you to be strong and calm. Please draw strength from those of us who love you both.
